I don’t know about y’all, but I’m still heavily slappin’ Kidkanevil’s “ZoOoOoOop” featuring Oddisee track and the Belleruche “Backyard” remix that he dropped quite some time ago. Now I’ve come across another sweet little gem of his and I can honestly say that this guy may have won my ears over for life.
Kidkanevil recently put his magic remixing touch to a song called “All Or Nothing” by a UK singer named Stac – who is currently signed to the awesome indie label Wah Wah 45s. She’s definitely a talented artist who is able to cleverly play with her vocals and melodies, but after hearing the original version to “All Or Nothing”, it was pretty obvious that a hot remix could take this song to the next level.
There’s just the right amount of everything on this track; some electro & synth fused with some mild R&B; topped with just the right amount of Stac’s delicate vocals so that neither the dope beat or her voice are overpowering each one another. Stac’s Turn That Light Out: The Remixes / Vol. Two is out now – with Kidkanevil’s mix appropriately leading it off. Peep.
