First of all, ignore the horrible owl masks in the video. Second, let that smooth DJ Premier production wash over you like a fresh pair of Girbraud jeans. Despite their ill advised facial wear the Four Owls are solid MC’s and do the track justice and for fans of classic hip-hop this hits that same sweet spots but doesn’t sound dated. The problem with multi-group MC’s is that there has to be a rhythm and a synchronicity between them and Four Owl’s mic passing is seamless and on point. Watch below:
