Shabazz Palaces is set to release the sequel to their pretty brilliant Black Up. It’s the second album they are dropping on iconic indie music label Sub Pop. While the Black Up felt as if you walked into a hidden meeting spot filed with triply spiritual advisors and pro-black revolutionaries, their follow up, Lese Majesty sounds like they beamed everyone there 200 years into the future on a distant planet. It’s has much of what made Black Up special, but much more trippier. Check out the teaser clip for their track “#Cake” hopefully while chewing on a pot brownie.
