The long running overlords of atmospheric beats Massive Attack return with a new surprise EP, Ritual Spirit. The first single, “Take It There” features their long running collaborator (and another pioneer in moody electronic music) Tricky. As you can guess it’s a track that plays well during long rainy drives home while mulling over something serious in your life. While Massive Attack tends to release music at a snails pace it seems 2016 they plan on unleashing the hounds; a second EP and full album are slated to follow.
