Earlier in the year singer/songwriter/MC Maimouna Youssef aka Mumu Fresh dropped her The Reintroduction of Mumu Fresh mixtape and she finally dropped her clip for one of the more personal songs on the album, Tell My Story. Here she talks about her struggles (and most important victories) as a woman of mixed heritage in America. It’s a cute little clip where she shouts out the elders that helped make her the woman that she is today. Ms. Youssef is about to embark on a little European tour December 1-9 capped off with a stint at the Cotonou Couleurs Jazz Festival in Benin w/ Zap Mama December 11-14. Check out the clip below:
