And on “Got It Good,” he enlists UK garage champ Craig David for an ode to flashing plastic and letting the lady buy whatever she damn well pleases.
A good decade-and-a-half removed from his garage ascendancy, David’s been due for a creative renaissance, and he may have found his muse in Kaytranada. The silky-smooth delivery of the Southampton singer-songwriter sounds right at home over this seriously bumping ballad.
