Geoff Barrow is the mastermind behind one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the modern era Portishead. While everything they put out is a classic the problem with Portishead is that they release a new record about…oh…every ten years or so. The members stay busy and most recently he dropped a solid hip-hop project called Quakers a couple of years back. He also plays in a band called BEAK which plays a moody 70’s influence prog-rock a la Can. In BEAK it feels like he’s giving back new music to be sampled on in the future the way Portishead deftly flips samples themselves. Anyway, Beak is back with a new EP and here’s the (surprise surprise) dark and moody clip for it below.
