Ab-Soul, the trippy member of hip-hop supergroup Black Hippy drops his second album, These Days, on June 24th. To set it off he’s dropped his latest single Closure. While Kendrick and to a certain extent Schoolboy Q are pretty great introspective rappers Ab-Soul beats them both in that category. His last track on the previous album, “Book of Soul” almost brought me to tears in the way he described his life and setbacks up to the suicide and death of his girlfriend and solid songstress in her own right Alori Joh. His latest track has him in the bathroom (kinda funny how it’s always the most private room in a residence) ruminating over life and relationships. Watch below.
