I’m the kind of Aaliyah fan that usually doesn’t really respond well to artists covering her music. Even though their intentions are good, my ears have formed a mental block to her covers  – due to the pain I still feel over losing her. I’m really trying to work on this problem… and I think “Artists 2 Peep” Rochelle Jordan, may be the one to have finally helped me to losen up a bit.

She and her partner in beats, Klash, have just released a tribute to the falling star – a reworked cover of “Are You That Somebody”… I must admit, it is a job well done. Peep it below.
