One of the best things about New York is how each neighborhood feels like its own little city in a way. And when disaster strikes, we don’t only ban together as a city, but the neighborhood steps up in every way they know how.
This year’s Taste of 7th is donating ALL profits to the Red Cross in an effort to help those who have lost so much in the explosion on 2nd Avenue. So not only will you get to sample food from Luke’s Lobster, Caracas Arepa Bar, Huertas, Porchetta, Butter Lane, and Big Gay Ice Cream, but you will be contributing to a cause that really deserves our attention.
So join me this weekend, April 11th and 12th, for Taste of 7th 2015 for a truly win-win situation. (Not to mention the weather is going to be perfect so really, where else would you rather be?)
