New York has a lot of really cool events – if you look around you can experience some really great things. We write about events a lot here at The Couch Sessions but I think this one sounds particularly awesome!
The theme is meatballs, the location is Brooklyn, and the idea is a takedown! The Takedown started back in 2003 in Brooklyn and has now expanded to all different kinds of food in cities around the country.
I for one am a huge fan of cooking competitions on TV so I am imagining this will be the live version! Cooks from across the city will engage in a full on battle to determine who makes the best meatballs–sounds like a win for me! You don’t have to cook to take part; just enjoy the competition!
