Metronomy had been making solid music for a years now as an electronic based act before their fantastic leap forward with their album, The English Riviera. The group, which moved from a duo into a full band, found a sense of warmth and funkiness (along with added live instrumentation) and released one of the best records of that year. Their follow up, Love Letters, was a subdued but still great exploration of love songs. With this single it seems they are back to more upbeat tracks and it comes at a perfect time with summer around the corner. The video is basically a creepy homage to the Ice Storm but don’t let that vibe fool you…this song is straight fun. Watch above.
