Australians make great coffee. New York also happens to have great coffee. Put these two together and you’ve got Two Hands, an Australian coffee shop in SoHo.
Two Hands is what a coffee shop should be. The staff is incredibly friendly, the prices are reasonable, the coffee is great (duh), and the atmosphere is ideal for sitting around with a friend or just grabbing something to go.
I went in the middle of the day around 2pm and the lunch rush was just quieting down. I had some time to kill and figured I’d pop in for a cappuccino. I was a little nervous about taking up a table for a few minutes while I drank my coffee but the server there was amazing and assured me I was ok to do that. The one thing I hate about coffee shops is feeling pressured to have something more than a coffee. Two Hands is the perfect place to do just that. Not to mention the food is also incredible–avocado toast is a must!
