A couple of years ago MC Tree dropped one hell of an under appreciated mixtape, Sunday School 2. In it you ha the 808 basslines that the kids all love nowadays mixed with sampled soul classics into a glorious stew he called, “Soul Trap”. He’s got a new mixtape, Trap Genius, and unfortunately it’s a bit more towards the pedestrian side of things as far as the production goes.
