SIP OF THE MOMENT: Juicing It Up at The Butcher’s Daughter

I like my OJ in the morning, but I had never hopped on the juice bandwagon – until today. A massive hangover this morning called for some serious damage control, so we headed to The Butcher’s Daughter for a brunch full of Instagrammable plates of smashed avocado eggs benedict, Monterey eggs, and the cream of the crop – the juice. My brunch partner picked a cold-curing Water Flower (watermelon, fennel, honeydew, cactus pear, lime, lavender flower) and I opted for the Honey Bee, packed with grapefruit, tumeric root, yuzu, jumquat, anjou pear, honey, and bee pollen – which may have been the best juice i’ve ever had, ever. Hangover? Gone. Pick up cartons of juice at their market shop next door or try to squeeze yourself at a table on weekend mornings, and the only problem you’ll have after a wild night out is which flavor to choose.
