The Hip Hop Caucus celebrated the forthcoming release of HOME, an album dedicated to raise awareness about climate change at the Howard Theatre. The event was hosted by Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr., the Hip Hop Caucus President and CEO. With performances by NE-YO, Elle Varner, Raheem DeVaughn, Crystal Waters, Kumasi, Choklate, Jessica Care moore, Antonique Smith to name a few.
HOME was produced by Grammy Award winning producer Malik Yusef, this project will serve as the soundtrack to the growing climate movement. HOME also features Common, Karmin and more. The Hip Hop Caucus produced the album in partnership with The Private Plane and Environmental partners: 350.org, Avaaz, Sierra Club, Natural Resources Defense Fund and Wallace Global Fund to advance global action to address climate change.
