Up-and-coming Norwegian singer, Mr. Little Jeans (AKA Monica Birkenes) has been on high-buzz this summer due to her recent cover (and transformation) of Arcade Fire’s super popular track, “The Suburbs”. Impressively & cleverly – she turned the dreamy pop song (which I’ve always thought was rather bleh), into a chic, eerie & beautiful electrofied nightmare of her own- and fortunately for us there are now some visuals to accompany it.
Mr. Little jeans has quietly been dropping tracks via her Soundcloud page for over a year now, but something tells me she won’t remain too unknown for long. The talent is obviously there with this girl. Peep the video below.
